Direct Ink Writing of Recycled Composites with Complex Shapes: Process Parameters and Ink Optimization

چکیده

Within the complex framework of additive manufacturing, direct ink writing (DIW) processes significantly contribute to extending range 3D-printable materials (i.e., thermosetting resins, ceramics, hydrogels). Thanks this technology, viscous inks are easily extruded for creation 3D structures. Nevertheless, quick recovery solid-like behavior after extrusion remains one most crucial open issues inks. The main goal herein is improve printability a UV-curable composite reinforced with mechanically recycled glass fiber composites by modifying its rheological behavior. overall process optimized, leading definition optimal parameters these types materials. Furthermore, retraction mode successfully developed DIW composites. Additional features achieved, thanks aforementioned improvements, such as shapes, assembled pieces, and/or moving built-in mechanisms, increasing number new potential applications fiber-reinforced polymers.
